What materials do you use for your drawings? I use Copic Ciao markers and Touch Twin Markers, Quill Multiboard white paper, 2B and HB Pentel and Faber-Castell 0.5 mechanical pencils and Faber-Castell PVC-Free Space Eraser (Cool name) and I use Uni-ball Signo white fineliner 2. Did you go to any art school or academy? No. I am taking Studio Arts in senior high school right now. It's not from that class that I learned what I know. I am learning new things from the class, but so far, not to do with fashion illustration or manga drawings. I go to a regular high school, so it doesn't specialize in art. 3. How do you draw the models? Do you use any templates? I started out by tracing models from magazines which is harder than it sounds, but once you get the hang of it, its pretty easy. Then of course, I searched all types of videos on YouTube and some sites as well on Google, which unfortunately, I don't remember. 4. How old are you? I am 16 years old. 5. How long have you been drawing? I'm pretty sure I started drawing at 6. That's probably my oldest memory of me drawing. I got into manga drawings when I was 11 years old, I started teaching myself how to draw manga when I was 13 years old. I started developing an interest in fashion design also when I was 11, but I pursued that interest or taken it further at the age of 14. So, I would say I started drawing fashion illustration at the age of 14. 6. Where do you get your inspiration? I get my inspiration from music, photos on Instagram, fashion trends, things that I love. There are times where I am just in an Artist's Block and I feel really brain dead where I can't draw. Or I force myself to draw and it never turns out to be something I like. I am currently in an Artist's Block which has been going on since late October 2011, and I am finding ways to get out of it. Tips to draw better a fashion sketch in 4 minutes

05:00
The tutorial for today: Tips to draw better a fashion sketch in 4 minutes. We start with the construction axes. Don't over draw them. Just a simple sketch will do.This simple axes will help you and they will be a small guidance for your future costume.Remember that if the shoulder axis goes up, the hip line will balance the figue and it will be sketched in the oposite direction.Use soft lines and the use strong strokes that will create your costume. This is an exercise about composition, accents, balancing the lines in a fashion costume, it is an exercise that will help you be more creative, very fast, As a tip: use a music playlist and depending on the music, you can accelerate your lines, after the beat. There is no use in drawing the details, all you have to do is to have an expressive line, very modulated. For the second fashion sketch start, as previously, with the axes. Then add lines, dots and surfaces to your costume, to make in even more creative and interesting to be watched. A drawing is perfect when you have multiple line sizes - and these you can obtain when you press softer or harder, when you can add pression to your pencils and control the lines. Another tip is to keep your eyes half closed to see where you need to put the accents in a fashion sketch. If the sketch has almost the same "color" let's say, it is time to have areas where the line is stronger or softer, where you have empty spaces or black surfaces. These areas are those where the eye of the viewer stops and reflects, where the eye takes a break. When drawing more figures on a single paper sheet, try to think of all of them as a unit, as a whole. Each fashion sketch can be treated as an individual composition, but also the full paper should be in harmony, having the perfect composition. See those black areas that I underline sometimeS? Those are the equilibrium of each composition and they help you create a rythm to your drawings. At then end, take a look at all my drawings on this page and try to understand which technique I applied and why. The first model is feminine and it has a curved soft line. The scond one has the accents put on the upper side, having big volumes in the shape of a pair of earrings and jewelry for the neck. The third one is more elastic, nervous and it has a bigger volume the the preivous sketches. Here the contrast between the soft lines and those with accents is bigger. The costume is composed by 3 areas that are round: the two volumes on the shoulders and the lower part- the skirt. The last one has a more masculine approach. The lines are bold, strong and they tend to have angles. They are more rigid and they look geometric somehow. The last figure is the accent of this composition. The line is crazy and unexpected, compared to the previous strokes. Try to do this exercise at home, by copying my sketches and then by inventing new ones. Good luck!

How to draw faces in fashion illustration

05:56
This tutorial is for golden diys, alexisaspoon, Memo Chanel, Vandyan Ha, jasmine smith, Doc Hiluluk, Tania Kaur and many more who wanted to learn how to actually draw a fashion portrait. And here is the process when drawing the face, in fashion illustration. We start with the round of the face. Then we add the nose in a triangle shape. After that, we continue with the lips. Make sure to leave the bottom part of the lips in white because usually that is the lighted part of the lips. Then go to the eyes. The size of an eye is the same as the distance between the eyes. Use soft lines and then add more contrast when you are sure you did the right thing for the eyes. The upper part is darker and the lower part - you can leave it in soft gray. There is no use to add so much contrast here. Use parallel lines to shade the part under the eyebrows - where the shadow is. Add shadow under the nose and chin and on the sides. Then use creative, expressive lines to make the hair. It is not necessary to have a real haircut, because, as you can see, you can play even more with the lines to create a spectacular haircut. Then do the earrings and the neck - use lines that suggest a lacy costume. Then go to the chest and will it with expressive lines as you can see in my drawing. Use 8B pencils for more contrast and put some accents where do you need them. Add details if you want and then let's do another drawing. This time we can be even more creative. Start like you already know with the oval of the face. Then suggest the right eye and then the left one. Add the shadow in parallel lines. After that, think of a crazy shape for the earrings. They are not necessary symmetric, so that you can think of any shapes. This time, I choose a non symmetrical hat and I accentuated some lines or the background in order to make it more evident in the page. As about the costume, I played with curves to exaggerate the volume. Use your imagination and helped by our creative tools: the lines, the dots and the surfaces, create a costume as you wish.

How to Draw a Figure | Fashion Sketching

04:35
Watch more How to Draw Fashion Sketches videos: http://www.howcast.com/videos/501928-How-to-Draw-a-Figure-Fashion-Sketching Learn how to draw a figure for a fashion sketch from fashion designer Garo Sparo in this Howcast video. All right. So let's draw a figure. One thing I always start out with a pencil, because you can always erase it, and it's a good way to just get the basis going. So I always start with the head. Just think about proportion as you're doing it. The head, then the neck. We do a straight line under the neck. A good trick is to make an X here for the body. And it's great that we're doing this in pencil, as I said before, because all of this can go away later. From here, we work with a lot of elongated triangles. I'm going have this girl have her hand on her hip. So I'm doing these elongated triangles, even a little triangle for the hand, because you're going to smooth it out later. We'll give her a little arm, hanging down. It can even cross into the hand, as I just did. We'll give her some legs, and you basically segment the legs into triangles. This is how you establish the kneecaps, you do like little inverted triangle that way. And even a little inverted triangle for the foot, as well. All right. Now we go in and we smooth it all out. She kind of has a short neck, but I'm not that concerned, I can always erase that and fix it, so whatever. Basically drawing her outer silhouette now. I'll give her some bust, give her some hips. This is such a great trick because everybody knows how to draw a triangle, and then you're just smoothing over, smoothing over. She's turning out on the curvier side, but I can always fix that later as well. I'll give her her feet. Which I probably want her in high heels. All right. So, once you've gotten this process down, you've gotten it all smoothed out, you're happy with this, you're happy with that, and in fashion illustration you always elongate the form. And the reason why is you have more room to render the clothing. And that is why we make them so tall and lanky. It gives us more space to render details. Okay, now I go in with my pen. I like a nice roller pen, you can use felt tip, whatever you like. And I ink it all in. I hate drawing hands, but I will give a good attempt for you. I'll just give her like a weird mitten, but whatever, you can fix that later. That's why we have White-Out. It's never a bad idea just to put her hands behind her body, because it's all about the clothes, it's really not about her hands. And even if I'm doing these lines kind of feathery, you can always go over it again later with a thicker pen and really tighten it up. I'll give her some calves, a foot, and I'll have her have some high-heeled shoes on. She's pivoting her foot out. I'll lose this calf on this side and give her a calf on that side that tells me that her foot is being pivoted out. I'll give her a crotch. All right, so I've done the basic structure, so now I go in with my eraser and I get rid of all of the pencil. That arm is not pretty, but whatever, I can fix that later. So after a few little corrections, she'll be good to go, you can scan her into your computer. And that's how you draw a figure.

I get my inspiration from music, photos on Instagram, Tumblr fashion trends, things that I love. There are times where I am just in an Artist's Block and I feel really brain dead where I can't draw. Or I force myself to draw and it never turns out to be something that I like. 7. Do you have any links or books you can recommend? Definitely! Fashion Illustration by Anna Kiper and Fashion Poses for Fashion Illustrators by Sha Tahmasebi are two books that I own at the moment. I'm hoping to get more. These two books are very helpful if you're a beginner or even if you want to be a bit more advanced. How to Draw A Fashion Illustration Study Abstract Gesturing Of Fashion Models in Procreate App

02:29
Drawing A Fashion Illustration Study Abstract Gesturing Of Fashion Models in Procreate App I love Procreate App! And if you ever want to do a easy yet fashionable illustration, this is the technique to try. Gesturing refers to the quick sketching of a subject in order to study form. Though there are many methods to do so, quickly sketching said subject without over analyzing the work is perfect for me. I tend to criticize my work to death. So drawing so quickly that it silences the inner critic, makes for a very fun piece that causes no anxiety. As always, I use my Apple Pencil and iPad Pro, but you can use the device of your choice. Digital Fashion Illustration - Part 1: Outline - tracing a model (plus size)

12:28
In this video I show you how I start off a fashion illustration digitally (using my laptop). I am using a Sony Vaio Flip which is a Tablet PC (touch screen) and am using a stylus which can draw directly on to my screen. You don't need these products to make digital fashion illustrations. You could also trace a model using the brush tool in photoshop or the pen tool in Illustrator. (I have done both in the past) Just to clarify, I CAN draw models/croquis myself, sometimes I just want a more perfect and realistic look which is when I will use a photograph as a base such as this. It also makes it a lot quicker and easier and gives great results even for people who don't think they can draw very well. A little bit about me: I am currently studying the Bachelor Degree in Fashion Design in Melbourne, Australia. I finished the Diploma in Fashion Design and Technology in 2014. I hope to own my own plus size alternative clothing label in the future. Music by Bensound http://www.bensound.com/

Women's Fashions For A Fuller Figure|| Curvy Women's Fashion Ideas

Women's Fashions For A Fuller Figure|| Curvy Women's Fashion Ideas. With more and more curvy celebrities and fuller figure models taking to the catwalks, we are now really starting to see a celebration of curves in the media. So it's no surprise that there is now a larger choice of fashionable plus size clothing available than there has been before. As ever, i'm leading the way, bringing all the latest looks to full figured fashion, meaning curvy ladies can now look better than ever. so go on, set your figure to slay with these Curvy Women Fashions. Wear something that fits. For some reason a lot of girls seem to think that dresses that are too tight and too short are really attractive for nights out, but I promise you that they are just as unattractive at night as they are during the day. It is possible to wear something comfortable that still looks hot. Something that fits you is going to be far more flattering, and will therefor make you look hotter. And because you'll feel more comfortable in your outfit, you will feel more confident and will therefore feel better about the way you look. Ladies and Gents! My special thanks to you all for your continued support and giving me the ability to continue making videos. Every time I make a video I think of all of you and I want to always bring you quality videos that you want to see with the utmost respectful and still fun self that I am. I love you all so much for always giving me beautiful words that fuel my desire to make videos. Sometimes it's discouraging to feel like you're one of so many, but you all keep me feeling special and I am so grateful that you all take time to watch my videos. Thank you so very much. THANKS FOR WATCHING! And please subscribe for more videos.
