What materials do you mainly use for your drawings? In general, I use Copic Ciao markers and Touch Twin Markers, Quill Multiboard A4 white paper, 2B and HB Pentel and Faber-Castell 0.5 mechanical pencil and Faber-Castell PVC-Free Space Eraser (Cool name) and I use Uni-ball Signo white fineliner 2. Did you go to any art school or academy? No. I took Studio Arts in senior high school. It's not from that class that I learned evreything I know. I did learn new things from the class, but not to do with fashion illustration or manga drawings. I went to a regular high school, so it doesn't specialize in art. 3. How do you draw the models? Do you use any templates? I started out by tracing models from magazines which is harder than it sounds, but once you get the hang of it, it's pretty easy. Then of course, I searched all types of videos on YouTube and some sites as well on Google, which unfortunately, I don't remember. How I learned to draw my models is using the 9-Head technique. 4. How old are you? I am now 19 years old 5. How long have you been drawing? I'm pretty sure I started drawing at 6. That's probably my oldest memory of me drawing. I got into manga drawings when I was 11 years old, I started teaching myself how to draw manga when I was 13 years old. I started developing an interest in fashion design also when I was 11, but I pursued that interest or taken it further at the age of 14. So, I would say I started drawing fashion illustration at the age of 14. 6. Where do you get your inspiration? I get my inspiration from music, photos on Instagram, Tumblr fashion trends, things that I love. There are times where I am just in an Artist's Block and I feel really brain dead where I can't draw. Or I force myself to draw and it never turns out to be something that I like. 7. Do you have any links or books you can recommend? Definitely! Fashion Illustration by Anna Kiper and Fashion Poses for Fashion Illustrators by Sha Tahmasebi are two books that I own at the moment. I'm hoping to get more. These two books are very helpful if you're a beginner or even if you want to be a bit more advanced. MUSIC: Go Not Gently by audionautiX NO COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT INTENDED

MUSIC: Happy Alley by Kevin MacLeod NO COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT INTENDED

4. PLEASE READ! STYLEHAUL http://www.youtube.com/user/stylehaul?feature=watch http://stylehaul.com/ If you haven't heard already, I won't be making tutorial video until late November because of my exams. I want to put all my energy on my studies right now, so I'm postponing all the tutorial video. But, I'm not going to stop making videos. In fact, I'll keep uploading every other week a time lapse video or something that doesn't take me a few hours or even a week to make. Tutorials take ages for me to make. How to draw a Croquis for fashion Illustration

05:25
→ MY WEBSITE | dstephanie.com ↓ OPEN THIS FOR MORE INFO ↓ TWITTER | INSTAGRAM | SNAPCHAT | FACEBOOK | PINTEREST | TUMBLR | DStephanie00 ------------------------------------ How to draw a Croquis for fashion Illustration For my first lesson, I will be drawing the croquis. The technique I choose to show is one form of drawing the croquis which I prefer. It's fast, and that of the proportions of a real person, which is about 8 heads tall. This approach is more realistic than the traditional 9 head croquis. Although there is no one right way of drawing it, just keep in mind what the purpose of the croquis will be. This is my first video to a series of videos that I will make to showcase my work as a fashion design. And should allow viewers to become more familiar with every aspect of design, from using different tools for rendering to designing and gathering information for inspirational usage. Stay tuned for more video and everything you need to know for fashion, illustration design and even sewing!! You may visit my website: www.dstephanie.com Also daily hits will be posted on my facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/dstephaniec/ Come it out!

Bridal Lehenga Design | Fashion Illustration

08:02
Hii guys, in today's video I'm making a Fashion Sketch of a Bridal Lehenga. It is an Ethnic Indian Wear specially designed for Brides. I kept the lehenga Red to maintain the authenticity and paired it up with Light Pink dupatta (which is wrapped like a saree pallu) and then summed this look up with the Deep Pink veil. Also, I have kept this look very minimal yet embellished. I hope you guys will enjoy watching the video. If you do, then make sure to LIKE this video and SHARE it with others. What materials do you use for your drawings? I use Copic Ciao markers and Touch Twin Markers, Quill Multiboard white paper, 2B and HB Pentel and Faber-Castell 0.5 mechanical pencils and Faber-Castell PVC-Free Space Eraser (Cool name) and I use Uni-ball Signo white fineliner 2. Did you go to any art school or academy? No. I am taking Studio Arts in senior high school right now. It's not from that class that I learned what I know. I am learning new things from the class, but so far, not to do with fashion illustration or manga drawings. I go to a regular high school, so it doesn't specialize in art. 3. How do you draw the models? Do you use any templates? I started out by tracing models from magazines which is harder than it sounds, but once you get the hang of it, its pretty easy. Then of course, I searched all types of videos on YouTube and some sites as well on Google, which unfortunately, I don't remember. 4. How old are you? I am now 17 years old 5. I get my inspiration from music, photos on Instagram, fashion trends, things that I love. There are times where I am just in an Artist's Block and I feel really brain dead where I can't draw. Or I force myself to draw and it never turns out to be something I like. I am currently in an Artist's Block which has been going on since late October 2011, and I am finding ways to get out of it. I'll keep you posted on how I break through it :] 7. Do you have any links or books you can recommend? Definitely! Fashion Illustration by Anna Kiper and Fashion Poses for Fashion Illustrators by Sha Tahmasebi are two books that I own at the moment. I'm hoping to get more. These two books are very helpful if you're a beginner or even if you want to be a bit more advanced. http://www.monkeysee.com/play/5156-how-to-draw-clothes-on-a-fashion-figure this is a very basic tutorial but seriously, this tutorial helped me when I was just starting.
