Webinar: oXygen XML Editor 17 - DITA Support
oXygen XML Editor 17 comes with many new additions to the DITA support. Topics and maps offer a choice of main rendering styles, as well as the option to add or subtract style layers. Guided DITA authoring was implemented as two optional style layers that allow you to see inline hints and actions. The CSS-based PDF transformation automatically uses the CSS styles you select for authoring, so that you can reuse the same CSS files when publishing DITA to PDF. Both DITA-OT 1.8 and 2.0 are supported and integrating a new transformation is greatly simplified for annotated transformation types, as oXygen will automatically discover their parameters. The DITA to WebHelp transformation optimizes the page loading time and provides context-sensitive help support, SEO resources, and LDAP authentication. The WebHelp output that now supports both RTL scripts and Japanese content can be easily embedded in a page. Watch this video to discover new DITA functionality in oXygen XML Editor 17!

George Bina (Syncro Soft/oXygen XML Editor): Schematron for Information Architects
George Bina (Syncro Soft/oXygen XML Editor) Schematron is a different kind of XML schema language, it focuses not on the grammar of the document but on different rules the structure and the content should follow. It is used successfully in the industry to enforce business rules on XML documents. Although it contains only 21 elements and a few attributes many people that do not have a technical background will be intimidated by the thought of learning Schematron. “Information architect” is an emerging profession in the XML information domain that defines a role responsible for the overall structure of the information models. Such a person should try to achieve consistent writing styles, structures, and reuse decisions and communicate and enforce the information model to information developers. While information architects will be able understand the business needs they will not necessarily be experts on XSLT, XPath, Schematron and other XML technologies. As one of the missions of an information architect is to enforce an information model and the use of a consistent structure and style, we can immediately infer that Schematron will be a great tool to master, but we cannot expect these people to become experts in Schematron. During many years of experience with Schematron I discovered that if we follow a set of best practice rules we can make Schematron accessible to anyone, thus enabling information architects to express business rules that will govern the XML information created by XML authors. We can structure Schematron rules to enable people that are not Schematron experts to create business rules in an easy way and we can take this idea further and build the business rules as part of a style guide, thus single sourcing the prose and the rules to automatically enforce the prose of the style guide. These ideas are materialized as an open source project on GitHub. PHP Generated XML File Not Showing Correctly in Chrome or Browser
Do you have an XML file generated via PHP and it does not work, despite the resulting code validating? While there might be a series of reasons why that is happening, I will show you in this video the most common reason why people run into this problem: The Content-Type is set incorrectly, or at least incorrectly to Google Chrome. Note that this was targeted for Google Chrome but this should fix it for your other web browsers too if it is WebKit based. The exception would be Safari in iOS if you are trying to open an RSS XML file, which it does not support. P.S. Sorry for the bad audio!

Ajax Marathi - How ajax Works ?
Ajax - Asynchronous JavaScript And XML is a set of Web development techniques using many Web technologies on the client side to create asynchronous Web applications. With Ajax, Web applications can send and retrieve data from a server asynchronously (in the background) without interfering with the display and behavior of the existing page. By decoupling the data interchange layer from the presentation layer, Ajax allows Web pages, and by extension Web applications, to change content dynamically without the need to reload the entire page.In practice, modern implementations commonly utilize JSON instead of XML due to the advantages of JSON being native to JavaScript. Ajax is not a single technology, but rather a group of technologies. HTML and CSS can be used in combination to mark up and style information. The webpage can then be modified by JavaScript to dynamically display – and allow the user to interact with — the new information. The built-in XMLHttpRequest object within JavaScript is commonly used to execute Ajax on webpages allowing websites to load content onto the screen without refreshing the page. Ajax is not a new technology, or different language, just existing technologies used in new ways.

Let’s start by just drawing a very rough title block – line on the right, box at the lower right hand corner, then we’ll start adding some text. Before we do that, I need to introduce you to the concept of AutoText. AutoText is text that Layout will automatically fill in for you based on information that is set in your model – it’s almost like the text version of a component from SketchUp. You can see what AutoText information is available by going up to “File,” “Document Setup,” “Auto-Text.” These are the Items that are already in as AutoText, and you can adjust their values within this area. For example, let’s add our Address to our title bar. To start, add a text box with the value "Address" in it to your title bar. Now, change your address in the AutoText section. Notice that the text in your actual document changes to match what you’ve entered in your Document Setup. You can adjust the style of your text within the “Text Style Section.” Now, let’s add a logo in the upper right hand corner – just go to “File,” “Insert,” and find your logo image. In this case, we’re going to use the AutoText for "Page Number", along with a letter and a pair of numbers. You can add a page description section, dates, and other information in here as well. Notice that you can create a border around a text box by selecting “Stroke” in the “Shape Style” section. You can draw lines to separate your various sections, and adjust the way they look using the “Stroke” option in your Shape Style section of your tray. Now, let’s talk about getting this to show up on all your pages (or at least most of your pages). First, you’re going to want to select all of this. You can group it or not – I’d probably group it. Then, you need to add a layer for Title Block, and put all this geometry on that layer. You can check it by toggling it on or off. You should be able to drag it down near the bottom. Then, assuming you want this to show up on every page, you need to click the option for Share Layer Across Pages. This will result on this layer showing up in the same location across every page. You may want to click the lock button to keep from accidentally editing your title block. However, sometimes you have pages you don’t want this to show up on – simply turn the layer off on those pages! Now, let’s adjust our page numbering so numbering doesn’t start until after the first page. Simply go up to your Document Setup again and use the drop down to select the page you’d like your numbering to begin on. Finally, you can save this block as a template so you can use it in future projects by simply going up to “File,” “Save as Template,” and saving it under your “My Templates” folder. A video where I try to figure out how to use the XML Plugin which is in C2 by default (: It took a bit of time because the XML plugin doesn't give any feedback when you use it wrong. I cover: - how to use XPath (some simple basics) - how to get a node and write what is in it - how to loop through nodes - how to filter via attributes (there's a complex solution first and an easier one around the last third of the vid) I'll marked on the video when I struggled so you can easily skip those part (unless your interested in seeing how I usually go about figuring things out, or if you like watching people struggling :D) Don't hesitate to comment if you see something wrong, or if you want to add some usefull information (: capx available here: https://app.box.com/s/7szi1xrqdfld7jun9oc5

This is continuation to Part 154, please watch Part 154 before proceeding. 1. Add an XML file and name it MenuData.xml. Include the menu item xml. 2. Drag and drop an XmlDataSource control on the webform. Set XPath and DataFile attributes. Notice that DataFile attribute points to the XML file that we added in Step 1. 3. Drag and drop a menu control and set DataSourceID attribute to the xmldatasource control we created in step 2. Also, set DataBindings. 4. To set the styles for the selected menu item, copy and paste the following code in the code-behind file. private void Check(MenuItem item) { if (item.NavigateUrl.Equals(Request.AppRelativeCurrentExecutionFilePath, StringComparison.InvariantCultureIgnoreCase)) { item.Selected = true; } else if (item.ChildItems.Count ] 0) { foreach (MenuItem menuItem in item.ChildItems) { Check(menuItem); } } } protected void Menu1_PreRender(object sender, EventArgs e) { foreach (MenuItem item in Menu1.Items) { Check(item); } }

CSS Tutorial (Section 1-Introduction to CSS)
Cascading Style Sheets ie CSS is a style sheet language used for describing the look and formatting of a document written in a markup language. While most often used to style web pages and user interfaces written in HTML and XHTML, the language can be applied to any kind of XML document, including plain XML, SVG and XUL. CSS is a cornerstone specification of the web and almost all web pages use CSS style sheets to describe their presentation. CSS is designed primarily to enable the separation of document content from document presentation, including elements such as the layout, colors, and fonts. This separation can improve content accessibility, provide more flexibility and control in the specification of presentation characteristics, enable multiple pages to share formatting, and reduce complexity and repetition in the structural content (such as by allowing for tableless web design). It obviates those portions of markup that would specify presentation by instead providing that information in a separate file. For each relevant HTML element (identified by tags), it provides a list of formatting instructions. For example, it might say (in CSS syntax), "All heading 1 elements should be bold." Therefore, no formatting markup such as bold tags is needed within the content; what is needed is simply semantic markup saying, "this text is a level 1 heading." CSS can also allow the same markup page to be presented in different styles for different rendering methods, such as on-screen, in print, by voice (when read out by a speech-based browser or screen reader) and on Braille-based, tactile devices. It can also be used to allow the web page to display differently depending on the screen size or device on which it is being viewed. While the author of a document typically links that document to a CSS file, readers can use a different style sheet, perhaps one on their own computer, to override the one the author has specified. However if the author or the reader did not link the document to a specific style sheet the default style of the browser will be applied. CSS specifies a priority scheme to determine which style rules apply if more than one rule matches against a particular element. In this so-called cascade, priorities or weights are calculated and assigned to rules, so that the results are predictable. The CSS specifications are maintained by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).

Introduction HTML or HTML 5 Bangle Part = 01
Introduction HTML or HTML 5 Bangle https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HTML What is HTML? HTML is the standard markup language for creating Web pages. HTML stands for Hyper Text Markup Language HTML describes the structure of Web pages using markup HTML elements are the building blocks of HTML pages HTML elements are represented by tags HTML tags label pieces of content such as "heading", "paragraph", "table", and so on Browsers do not display the HTML tags, but use them to render the content of the page HTML (Hypertext Markup Language) is the set of markup symbols or codes inserted in a file intended for display on a World Wide Web browser page. The markup tells the Web browser how to display a Web page's words and images for the user. Each individual markup code is referred to as an element (but many people also refer to it as a tag). Some elements come in pairs that indicate when some display effect is to begin and when it is to end. HTML is a formal Recommendation by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) and is generally adhered to by the major browsers, Microsoft's Internet Explorer and Netscape's Navigator, which also provide some additional non-standard codes. The current version of HTML is You can download Notepad++ For Windows 32 bit Operating System :- https://notepad-plus-plus.org/download/v7.5.3.html For Windows 64 bit Operating System :- https://notepad-plus-plus.org/download/v7.5.3.html Browser :- https://filehippo.com/software/internet/ HTML (the Hypertext Markup Language) and CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) are two of the core technologies for building Web pages. HTML provides the structure of the page, CSS the (visual and aural) layout, for a variety of devices. Along with graphics and scripting, HTML and CSS are the basis of building Web pages and Web Applications. Learn more below about: What is HTML? HTML is the language for describing the structure of Web pages. HTML gives authors the means to: Publish online documents with headings, text, tables, lists, photos, etc. Retrieve online information via hypertext links, at the click of a button. Design forms for conducting transactions with remote services, for use in searching for information, making reservations, ordering products, etc. Include spread-sheets, video clips, sound clips, and other applications directly in their documents. With HTML, authors describe the structure of pages using markup. The elements of the language label pieces of content such as “paragraph,” “list,” “table,” and so on. What is XHTML? XHTML is a variant of HTML that uses the syntax of XML, the Extensible Markup Language. XHTML has all the same elements (for paragraphs, etc.) as the HTML variant, but the syntax is slightly different. Because XHTML is an XML application, you can use other XML tools with it (such as XSLT, a language for transforming XML content). What is CSS? CSS is the language for describing the presentation of Web pages, including colors, layout, and fonts. It allows one to adapt the presentation to different types of devices, such as large screens, small screens, or printers. CSS is independent of HTML and can be used with any XML-based markup language. The separation of HTML from CSS makes it easier to maintain sites, share style sheets across pages, and tailor pages to different environments. This is referred to as the separation of structure (or: content) from presentation. আমার সাথে যোগাযোগ করতে চাইলে :- fb page: - https://www.facebook.com/DsOnlineGroup/ fb group :- https://www.facebook.com/groups/DSONLINEGROUP/ Bangla Blog :- https://dsonline-group.blogspot.com/ English Blog :- https://earnonline-help.blogspot.com/ Twitter :- https://twitter.com/Dsonline_Group Linkedin :- https://bd.linkedin.com/in/robiul-islam-5b1b81b2 G+ https://plus.google.com/107552306707988153473 -~-~~-~~~-~~-~- Please watch: "HOW TO INSTALL REDHAT LINUX 7 BANGLA TUTORIAL Part =01 " https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7INSOFpRTXw -~-~~-~~~-~~-~-
